Job description

BLOX Digital is looking for a highly adaptable Project Manager to lead complex, custom, and fast-moving client projects across a variety of digital products and services. The ideal candidate for this job has a customer-first mindset, takes ownership of outcomes, is adept at communicating with remote teams, proactive in communication, demonstrates outstanding customer service skills, is calm under pressure, and has a strong attention to detail.

This position will manage the onboarding of new clients, working with our internal design and implementation teams. The Project Manager will act as the internal lead from initial kick off through to final delivery of projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within the agreed-upon scope. They understand customer goals and advocate for the customer internally.

Position Responsibilities

• Simultaneously manage multiple projects in different stages of completion. Prioritize work, not just personally, but for other stakeholders as well, to get needed results.

• Create and manage the project plan, to include timeline, communication plan, and resource management.

• Facilitate ongoing, timely, and accurate communication to internal and client stakeholders on project progress. Take ownership of results and follow through.

• Escalate issues while maintaining ownership and momentum.

• Manage a seamless handoff from project build to ongoing account management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Maintain exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with remote teams and clients. Explain technical concepts simply, lead meetings confidently, and deliver difficult updates without creating panic.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including empathy with client goals and building a strong rapport with internal teams.

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

• Advocate for project management process and methodology, including continuous improvement.

Education & Experience

Required:

• 2 or more years of Project Management experience

• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities

•  Strong written and verbal communication skills

 Preferred:

• Experience with CMS, SaaS, publishing, or digital media platforms

• CAPM, PMP, or progress towards formal certification

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour plus opportunity for bonus
