Job description
Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law is seeking well-qualified entry-level or junior-level applicants to fill (2) tenure-track faculty positions. Primary curricular needs include Sales, Remedies, Professional Responsibility, Criminal Law, Constitutional Criminal Procedure, and Advanced Criminal Procedure. Other needs include Constitutional Law I and II, and Civil Procedure I and II. Candidates must possess a strong academic background and an equally strong potential for legal scholarship and teaching excellence. Faulkner University is a Christian university committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values. The Law School gives preference in hiring to qualified candidates who are members of the churches of Christ. Additionally, the law school is actively recruiting candidates who may bring greater gender, racial, and ethnic diversity to the faculty. These are full-time, 10-month positions beginning August 1, 2027. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Review of applications will begin immediately. Priority will be given to applications submitted by November 1, 2026.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved institution required
- Active member of the church of Christ preferred
