Are there entry-level product management jobs?

These positions typically require a bachelor's degree and may involve internships or certifications to build relevant knowledge.

What is an entry level product manager?

Entry level product managers are professionals who help guide the development and launch of products, usually as part of a larger product management team. They often work under the supervision of more experienced product managers, assisting with tasks like market research, gathering user feedback, writing product requirements, and coordinating with engineering, design, and marketing teams. These roles are ideal for recent graduates or those new to product management who want to gain foundational experience in the field. Entry level product managers play a key role in ensuring products meet customer needs and business goals.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level product manager?

To thrive as an Entry Level Product Manager, you need a solid understanding of market research, basic business analysis, and product lifecycle concepts, often supported by a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana, and proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel or Google Analytics, are typically required. Can you get into entry level product management with no experience?

Entry level product management roles often require some familiarity with product development, project management, or related skills, but many companies are open to candidates with limited experience if they demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Gaining relevant knowledge through online courses, certifications, or internships can improve chances of entry. Employers may also value transferable skills from other fields such as marketing, engineering, or business analysis.

What types of projects and responsibilities can I expect as an entry level product manager?

As an entry level product manager, you can expect to work on a variety of tasks such as conducting market research, gathering user feedback, assisting with product roadmap planning, and collaborating closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams. You'll often support more senior product managers by helping to write user stories, prioritize features, and track progress toward product goals. Over time, you'll gain exposure to the end-to-end product development process and gradually take ownership of small product features or initiatives, which is a great way to build foundational skills and demonstrate your potential for career advancement.

  • Represent Infinity Replacement by Marvin in a professional, approachable way
  • Identify customer interest and schedule qualified in-home consultations
  • Accurately enter customer details and appointment information
  • Set up and manage branded displays as needed
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly appointment goals

This role does not involve cold calling, telemarketing, or closing sales.

Whatโ€™s In It for You

  • Strong Pay with Real Earning Power
    • Guaranteed $22/hour
    • Weekly bonuses for every qualified appointment generated โ€” no cap
    • Top performers regularly earn $30โ€“$35+ per hour
    • Many earn $1,000+ per week, even working part time
  • Flexible Schedule
    • Choose shifts that fit your life, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
    • Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week
  • Training, Support, and Growth
    • Paid training and ongoing coaching
    • Clear expectations and messaging
    • Opportunities to advance into sales, leadership, or remain in a highearning flexible role

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Reliable transportation (travel to retail locations and events required)
  • A smartphone
  • Comfort standing and moving throughout your shift
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (display setup)
  • Confidence handling rejectionโ€”you understand every โ€œnoโ€ gets you closer to a โ€œyesโ€
  • A genuine interest in people and strong, facetoface communication

Youโ€™ll do well in this role if you enjoy meeting new people, staying active throughout your day, and working toward clear, measurable goals.

No prior sales experience is requiredโ€”candidates from retail, hospitality, fitness, customer service, and event backgrounds tend to succeed quickly.

Who This Is Ideal For
  • Individuals looking to start a career in sales
  • Professionals seeking flexible, high-earning part-time work
  • People who enjoy face-to-face interaction rather than desk-based roles
