EXPERIENCED PAINTER WANTEDMetal Fabrication Shop

Mid Atlantic Metals, LLC. is looking for a qualified and experienced Painter to join our metal fabrication team.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and understands the importance of producing a high-quality finished product.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare metal surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking
  • Apply primer, paint, and protective coatings to fabricated metal products
  • Operate spray painting equipment and other painting tools
  • Inspect finished work for proper coverage, consistency, and quality
  • Mix and properly apply paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
  • Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production schedules
Qualifications
  • Previous professional painting experience is required
  • Experience painting metal, steel, or fabricated products is required
  • Knowledge of surface preparation, primers, paints, and coatings
  • Experience with spray equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
