Overview

We are seeking a motivated Associate - Procurement Connectivity to join our team of procurement and technical experts. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about the intersection of technology and procurement, and who are eager to develop skills balancing cost efficiency and performance requirements.

The Associate will support procurement activities across software, vehicle-specific components, and hardware systems while collaborating closely with senior experts.

What you'll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Procurement Support  

  • Assist in sourcing and procurement of:  
    • Software solutions 
    • Vehicle-specific components 
    • Hardware systems (e.g., zonal architecture, XMM, radio farm) 
  • Support RFQs, supplier communications, and documentation 

Technical & Commercial Coordination 

  • Work at the interface between engineering and procurement 
  • Help evaluate trade-offs between technical performance and cost 
  • Support analysis of supplier proposals and technical specifications 

Data & Analysis 

  • Prepare cost comparisons, benchmarks, and reporting 
  • Maintain procurement data, pricing structures, and supplier records 
  • Contribute to total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations 

Project & Team Support 

  • Assist senior procurement experts in ongoing projects and negotiations 
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with engineering, finance, and suppliers 
  • Support preparation of presentations and decision materials 

Learning & Development

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, Michigan.
  • This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $50,000.00 - $65,000.00
