Job description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Procurement Analyst, Logistics to play a critical role in a high-profile logistics transformation initiative. This position offers the opportunity to drive strategic sourcing decisions, lead complex supplier negotiations, develop business cases, and influence executive-level decision-making on a project with significant operational and financial impact.
The ideal candidate combines deep procurement expertise with strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify innovative solutions and drive measurable business value.
What You'll Do
  • Lead procurement activities supporting strategic logistics transformation projects from sourcing strategy through contract execution.
  • Develop and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies with logistics providers, transportation companies, warehousing partners, and related suppliers.
  • Manage supplier selection processes, including RFIs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and commercial assessments.
  • Build executive-ready business cases, financial analyses, and total cost of ownership models to support key decisions.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and statements of work.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities, operational improvements, risk mitigation strategies, and service enhancements.
  • Create and deliver presentations and recommendations to executive leadership, steering committees, and board-level audiences.
  • Provide market intelligence on logistics trends, supplier capabilities, and procurement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and risk management requirements.
  • Support implementation planning and supplier transition activities as needed.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related commercial function; equivalent combination of experience will be considered.
  • Proven success leading complex sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contract structures, terms and conditions, and risk management.
  • Advanced business case development and financial modeling skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience preparing executive-level materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly visible project environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience sourcing transportation, warehousing, or logistics
  • Knowledge of transportation networks, distribution operations, freight management, and logistics cost drivers.
  • Experience supporting large-scale supply chain transformation or network optimization initiatives.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and best practices.
