Job description

Join our ambitious team at Masco Corporation as a Procurement COE Senior Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in our strategic Procurement activities. This outstanding opportunity allows you to influence key sourcing decisions and contribute to a world-class Procurement team. You will be at the forefront of data analysis, driving insights and recommendations that build the future of our sourcing strategy. Work closely with cross-functional teams and lead complex projects, all while developing your skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment!
In this role, you will drive strategic procurement activities, including spend and savings analysis, RFx development and execution, and data-driven opportunity identification across key spend areas. You will partner closely with Procurement COE and Category teams to lead workstreams from analysis through execution and improve procurement performance.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced data analysis on spend, savings, cost modeling, and scenario analysis. Use multiple tools like Excel and Power BI to produce insights and recommendations. These results guide sourcing choices and supplier selections.

  • Develop a deep level of understanding of the data under analysis, ensuring the right balance of accuracy and completeness with timely delivery of required information

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and act as a steward of the Masco Strategic Sourcing Process, ensuring consistent application and process execution

  • Lead cross-functional, complex sourcing projects independently, managing timelines, deliverables, collaborator alignment, and issue resolution from launch through execution

  • Build and distribute complex RFx documents to external suppliers

  • Actively participate in the project ideation process, using data to identify performance improvement opportunities and building the Procurement funnel

  • Navigate seamlessly throughout the organization during data gathering and analysis activities, encouraging relationships with partners throughout the business

  • Support members of the Procurement COE and Category Sourcing teams by providing analytics, insights, and recommendations that align with strategic priorities and sourcing initiatives

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of guidelines, tools, and templates to improve COE efficiency, scalability, and consistency across deliverables

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related technical field required

  • 4+ years of experience in an analytical role; experience in Procurement, Logistics/Transportation, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or related fields preferred

  • Has strong analytical abilities and shows proficiency in technical tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI)

  • Comfortable manipulating large, complex data sets and bringing to bear analytical skills to drive and influence business decisions

  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving and project management skills and strives for continuous improvement

  • Demonstrates business financial knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in crafting presentations and other high-quality deliverables

  • Comfortable presenting to executive-level collaborators and other cross-functional leadership

  • Manages constructive and cooperative working relationships, often without introduction, and functions effectively on a team; displays leadership qualities

  • Exhibits assurance and strong moral principles in a tough workplace; operates as a proactive individual

  • Shows initiative in taking ownership over new responsibilities, pushing boundaries, and challenging the status quo

  • Experience building and running sourcing events (RFx or equivalent experience) required.
