Job description

Responsibilities

As a machine operator you will be responsible for:

·        Following detailed instruction, processes, and procedures to correctly produce parts

·        Mold, trim, inspect parts to meet customer requirements

·        Able to detect defective parts

·        Comply with policies and guidelines

·        Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or material to supervisor

·        Measuring, gaging, and inspecting parts

·        Use a calibrator to gage parts

·        Ensure work area is kept clean and free of debris

·        Perform other related duties as assigned

·        Have exceptional attendance (be to work on time, and take breaks at allotted times)

Skills:

·        Machine operator, mic experience a plus, or willingness to learn

·        Good vision and ability to use fine motor skills such as holding, grasping, and turning

·        Must be able to sit for long periods of time

·        Able to identify issues

·        Detailed oriented

·        Must be able to work overtime as necessary to meet strict deadlines with our customers

·        Good communication skills. MUST be a team player, one who gets along with others

·        Must be able to keep up in a fast paced production based environment
