Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled entry-level Design/Mechanical Engineer to join our team! This role will focus on designing and documenting innovative solutions for a car wash conveyor project that is unprecedented in the industry. The ideal candidate will combine advanced design skills with hands-on experience in lean manufacturing and production support. Entry level/new graduate candidates are welcome.

Our team will ensure proper onboarding and training, with opportunities for growth through certifications and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Drafting: Create blueprints and manufacturing-ready designs using Autodesk Fusion, ensuring designs align with manufacturing best practices.
  • Documentation & Quality Control: Develop quality control documentation and inspection sheets for production processes.
  • Standard Work: Build and maintain detailed work instructions for shop floor machinists, promoting consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work within large files shared across teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration of design changes.
  • Manufacturing Mindset: Design with manufacturing efficiency in mind, optimizing for production capabilities and reducing waste.
  • Reverse Engineering: Analyze and reverse engineer existing parts, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Be a key player in implementing lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste across the facility.

Qualifications
