We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Associate to join our Facilities and Infrastructure department in Philadelphia, Pa or Austin, TX.

Position Summary:

Assists the senior engineering staff in the execution of the technical activities required on assigned projects and learns the discipline technical policies and procedures. Under supervision, participates in technical studies, investigations and designs on assigned projects. Assists the project team in the production of projects on time, within budget and of high technical quality.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Learns company technical policies, procedures and standards during the execution of projects for clients.
  • Under supervision, assists in the execution of design processes on assigned projects and requests assistance from senior technical staff when needed.
  • Assists the design team in the coordination of project designs with other disciplines.
  • Observes and learns the execution of specific engineering studies and design analyses.
  • Accompanies senior technical staff in performing on-site inspections during construction and learns how to communicate design requirements with contractors and equipment suppliers.
  • Actively participates in professional organizations where the technical reputation and image of the firm may be enhanced.

Key Requirements:

  • A demonstrated ability to learn the basics of design and analyses within his or her discipline and grow within the firm
  • 0-3 years experience preferred
  • Bachelors Degree from a four-year undergraduate engineering program
  • EIT certification obtained or in progress
