Join HomeSmiles Salem as a Junior Technician, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing our clients' homes with top-notch services. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment dedicated to customer satisfaction. If you love performing a variety of handyman-type tasks, friendly interactions with customers and being part of a fun team then HomeSmiles might be the right fit for you. Our core services are Roof Moss Removal, Gutter Cleaning, Pressure/Soft Washing, Window Cleaning and Dryer Vent Cleaning. Experience in these areas are a plus but attitude, enthusiasm and work ethic are what we value most! HomeSmiles is growing fast so there is room to grow your career with us. This is an entry level position and we are willing to train a fantastic candidate.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Lead technician in performing maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively while adhering to company protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Support the team in achieving service goals and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:
  • Be motivated, eager to work, do things without being told, stay off your phone during work.
  • Basic knowledge of home maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to show up for work on time consistently with a great attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to talk to customers and neighbors.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
  • Must climb ladders and get on roofs, run a pressure washer, operate a water fed pole, clean windows and gutters. We will provide training for these skills.
