Job description

Medical Scribe (Entry-Level | Pre-Med Friendly | Paid Training)


We are seeking Medical Scribes to support physicians by documenting patient visits in real time. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare, pre-med, or gaining clinical experience in a fast-paced outpatient environment.


This role focuses on real-time documentation, accuracy, and the ability to keep up with provider workflows—training is provided, including medical terminology and EHR systems.


Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Open to candidates available 3–5 full days per week
  • Must be able to travel between Jacksonville clinic locations


Compensation

  • $14/hour during training
  • $15/hour after training


What You’ll Do

  • Document patient visits in real time within the EHR
  • Capture key clinical information (HPI, ROS, exam findings, plans)
  • Assist with chart prep and post-visit documentation
  • Enter orders for labs, imaging, and referrals as directed
  • Communicate with providers to ensure accurate documentation
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and documentation standards
