YOUR MISSIONÂ
The Electrical Power Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, testing and integrating power systems for complex space missions. The ideal candidate will bring innovative engineering solutions to the challenges presented by True Anomaly unique missions.Â
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Design and analyze electrical power systems (EPS) for spacecraft, including solar arrays, batteries, and power distribution unitsÂ
- Perform modeling, simulation and on-orbit analysis for power generation and storageÂ
- Create and review technical documentation, including specifications, interface control drawings, test procedures, and design reviewsÂ
- Conduct system design trades balancing system performance, technical risk, cost and scheduleÂ
- Perform radiation and reliability analyses to clearly communicate system risks and identify future design improvementsÂ
- Develop failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for critical electrical systemsÂ
- Develop electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) for performing power system testing and hardware in the loop (HIL)Â
- Support environmental testing campaigns including EMI/EMC, thermal vacuum, and vibration testing Â
- Develop electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) for system testing and validation Â
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure integrated system functionalityÂ
QUALIFICATIONSÂ
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineeringÂ
- Minimum of 2 years of electrical or space systems engineeringÂ
- Understanding of spacecraft power system design and analysisÂ
- Understanding of spacecraft subsystemsÂ
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary teamÂ
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsÂ
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEÂ
- Extensive test experienceÂ
- Experience deploying systems in GEOÂ
- Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearanceÂ
COMPENSATIONÂ Â
- Base Salary:Â $90,000-$135,000Â

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education and experience.Â
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSÂ
- Work Location: this role will be fully onsite at our GravityWorks factory in Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CAÂ
- Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.Â
- Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs.Â
