  • ERCOT Operations Distribution Engineering Manager \- Supervise a team accountable for optimizing real\-time power flow models, maintaining information registries, and managing distribution engineering based emergency grid faults\/restorations (FLISR)
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • ERCOT Operations Distribution Engineering Manager \- Lead key aspects of the electrical distribution operations process including Outage Management (OMS), VOLT\/VAR assessments, and Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS)
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • ERCOT Operations Distribution Engineering Manager \- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the areas of systems restoration initiatives, contingency analysis, balancing grid load, and AMI optimization
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • ERCOT Operations Distribution Engineering Manager \- Drive the analysis of current\/emerging operational technologies (OT) in the electric power industry, with a focus on distribution grid modernization solutions like distributed energy resources (DERs) and advanced grid analytics<\/span><\/span>

  • ERCOT Operations Distribution Engineering Manager \- Collaborate with engineers, operations personnel, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of new technologies with existing DER infrastructure

    Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Engineering or a related Engineering field.
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Minimum 4+ years of operational experience in the electric power industry, preferably in distribution operations or planning.
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Well versed in Outage Management (OMS), VOLT\/VAR power assessments, and Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS)
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of electric power distribution systems and operations engineering principles \- systems restoration initiatives, contingency analysis, balancing grid load, and AMI optimization
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience with grid modernization technologies like smart meters, DERs, and advanced grid analytics (a plus)
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience with OSI (Open Systems International). GE Reliance, or related SCADA infrastructure
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills.
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Working knowledge NERC operational compliance standards and its effect on electrical distribution management
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills<\/span>
