Job description

This is an entry level position with the expectation of advancement. Base salary will increase based on experience, length of employment or upon receipt of property/casualty insurance license. We are looking for a friendly, welcoming person to greet our clients and visitors, with the expectation of acquiring an insurance license and moving into a customer service agent position. There are no weekend or evening hours. Full employee benefits would begin after 90 days full time trial period.

Responsibilities
  • Greet people upon entry to the office, directing them to the appropriate individual who can further assist them.
  • Accept all phone calls and direct hem appropriately.
  • Accept all incoming electronic communication and manage their distribution.
  • Assist with various clerical duties that would not require an insurance license to perform.
  • Maintain supplies.
  • Perform document security tasks.
  • Input appropriate data into our agency management software.]
  • Open and distribute daily mail/process outgoing ;mail to prepare for postal service.
  • Take in-person payments and login receipts from the mail to the management software.
  • Provide a professional, cordial, helpful and friendly face to all contacts with the agency.
