The PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident role is a one-year post graduate training program with the goal of providing new practitioners with additional confidence and competency in the practice of clinical pharmacy.   Residents are exposed to inpatient and ambulatory practices, gain valuable experience in direct patient care, and complete research projects that develop well rounded clinicians at the time of graduation.   The PGY-1 program serves as an important recruitment tool, and provides preceptor pharmacist with additional engagement and career satisfaction. 


  • This is an entry level post-graduate training position.

  • Doctorate Degree
  • Pharmacy/Doctor of Pharmacy from and ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy

  • Completion of BLS/ACLS Courses.
  • Pharmacist Licensure from the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy.
  • Must obtain both by October 1st of year of hire.
