Job description

  1. Retail soft goods sales associate (Entry level)

General Duties:

  • Provide a positive customer experience by greeting customers in a friendly manner and assessing their needs.
  • Assist customers in finding products that fit their needs, based on knowledge of product features and benefits.
  • Handle sales transactions on POS system, including returns, exchanges, warranties and special orders.
  • Answer phones and providing accurate information to customer inquiries regarding products, programs and services. Directing calls to proper departments when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and well stocked sales floor. Restocking daily.
  • Prepare new product for sales by hanging, tagging, sizing and steaming.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks including opening and closing duties, restocking and cleaning.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment, contributing to team dynamics.
  • Retail sales experience and familiarity with POS systems is helpful.
  • Capable of standing, walking and lifting moderate weights for an extended period of time.
  • Can commit to a minimum of three 6 hour shifts.
