Summit Swimming Pools Inc is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Swimming Pool Senior Technician to lead the charge on high-level service and installation projects for both residential and commercial pool and spa systems. This is not an entry-level positionwe're searching for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills who can mentor others, take ownership of complex service tasks, and ensure quality standards are consistently exceeded. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, repair, and installation of swimming pool and spa systems, including pumps, heaters, automation systems, filtration, and lighting.
  • Serve as the technical lead on job sites, mentoring junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on scheduling, materials, and customer updates to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct final inspections and system checks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Handle customer communications with professionalism, offering technical insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain detailed service records using a company-provided tablet and software tools.
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and attend manufacturer trainings and certifications.
  • Uphold safety practices at all times, including proper PPE use and adherence to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in pool and spa system maintenance, repair, and installation.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues with filtration, automation, gas/electric heating, and water chemistry systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor others effectively.
  • Technically adept and comfortable using mobile software and digital reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to high-quality work.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
