Job Description
Centrillion Biosciences is seeking a research scientist/engineer with background in polymer chemistry for applications in Bio-Microlithography. The position is part of a dynamic, rapidly paced research and development environment. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop leading-edge technologies for high-resolution lithographic patterning of DNA and other biomolecules for advanced applications in genomics & medicine. โ€ข Design and develop improved fabrication chemistries, materials, and processes
โ€ข Specify and procure components, materials, reagents and systems.
โ€ข Collaborate with scientists and engineers in a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary working team.
โ€ข Calibrate and maintain process tools, instruments & systems, if necessary.
โ€ข Provide a technical resource and operational support for troubleshooting manufacturing processes and manufactured product testing.
โ€ข Document experimental work; analyze data; report & present results to technical and non-technical audiences.
โ€ข Support quality & safety standards & procedures.
Qualifications
โ€ข PhD or MS with 2+ Years of Experience, in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering or related field.
โ€ข Background in organic, polymer and analytical chemistry.
โ€ข Experience with microfabrication, lithography and resist processing a plus.
โ€ข Process development and optimization using DOE methodology, Statistical Analysis, Process Control.
โ€ข Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
โ€ข Outstanding communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written).
โ€ข Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, and perform well under pressure.
โ€ข Working familiarity with scientific software for DOE, data visualization, statistical analysis, simulation, etc.
