Plantscape Designer | Entry Level Landscape Designer
Cross Creek Nursery & Landscaping is looking for a creative, motivated, and sales-oriented Entry Level Landscape Designer to join our team.
Are you passionate about plants and landscape design? Do you enjoy working with people and helping turn blank outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional landscapes? If you are looking to build a career in landscape design, horticulture, and the green industry, this could be the opportunity for you.
At Cross Creek Nursery & Landscaping, our Landscape Designers work directly with homeowners to develop thoughtful, plant focused outdoor spaces that bring their ideas to life. From foundation plantings and new landscape beds to drainage solutions and complete softscape designs, you will guide clients through the design process from the initial consultation through the final proposal.
This is an entry level opportunity for someone who is creative, motivated, comfortable working with customers, and excited to develop their skills in landscape design and sales.
What You'll Do
โ€ข Schedule and conduct landscape design consultations with customers
โ€ข Visit residential properties to evaluate sites and understand client needs
โ€ข Meet with clients to discuss goals, preferences, budgets, and project ideas
โ€ข Take accurate site measurements and document existing conditions
โ€ข Develop residential landscape designs and planting plans
โ€ข Create CAD and Dynascape drawings and visual presentations
โ€ข Select appropriate plant material based on site conditions, aesthetics, seasonal interest, and maintenance needs
โ€ข Prepare accurate estimates and design proposals
โ€ข Present landscape designs and recommendations directly to clients
โ€ข Revise designs based on client feedback
