Job description

Join Our Team at Caring Senior Service of Northern Virginia!
Are you an organized, energetic, and motivated individual who enjoys helping others? We're looking for an entry-level Administrative Assistant / Caregiver Coordinator to join our growing team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy multitasking, and are eager to build a career in healthcare administration, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
  • Professionally answer and manage a multi-line phone system while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with caregiver scheduling and staffing as needed (training provided).
  • Support daily office operations and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including conducting caregiver interviews as needed under the supervision of the Agency Director.
  • Work closely with the care management team to ensure outstanding service for our clients and caregivers.
  • Prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Help solve scheduling challenges and respond to changing priorities with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation every other week to assist with urgent client and caregiver scheduling needs.

This is more than a traditional office position. Your work will help connect families with dependable care and help compassionate caregivers begin rewarding careers serving seniors in our community.
If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity with a team that values compassion, professionalism, and excellence, we'd love to hear from you!
Requirements
  • Advanced computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal communication, and phone etiquette.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Experience in healthcare, scheduling, or administrative support is a plus, but not required. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidate who is eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
