Location: 9655 Granite Ridge Dr #500, San Diego, CA 92123
Scheduled: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM. Hours may occasionally adjust to 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or alternate schedules based on payroll processing needs.
About the Opportunity: The Payroll Specialist I is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. This entry-level role involves maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and providing support to the payroll department. The specialist will work closely with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, deductions, and direct deposit information.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing payroll reports for management and audits.
  • Support the payroll team in implementing process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
