Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in Irving, Texas on a Direct Hire basis.


This is a great opportunity for someone who already has payroll experience or a recent college graduate looking to launch a career in HR or Payroll.


Previous payroll experience is welcomed, but not required.


We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers and data and excited to learn and grow with an established organization.


What You'll Do

  • Assist with processing accurate and timely payroll
  • Review timekeeping records, payroll changes, deductions and other payroll information
  • Enter and maintain employee payroll data
  • Review payroll reports and identify discrepancies
  • Research and resolve payroll-related questions
  • Assist with payroll deductions, garnishments and employee changes
  • Support payroll tax reporting and compliance activities
  • Reconcile payroll information and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2s
  • Partner with HR, Accounting and other internal teams
  • Maintain confidential employee and payroll information
  • Assist with reporting, audits and special projects
  • Learn payroll regulations, processes and systems while developing your payroll expertise
