Position Overview The Patient Service Representative (PSR) plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, patient registration, insurance verification, and coordinating patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience & Front Desk

Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner

Manage patient flow and communicate wait times effectively

Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience

Registration & Insurance

Verify patient demographics and insurance eligibility

Accurately enter patient information into EMR (Experity preferred)

Explain visit costs, co-pays, and billing policies

Payments & Administration

Collect co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay balances

Maintain daily cash drawer and ensure accurate reconciliation

Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries

Scan and upload documents into patient records

Compliance & Support

Qualifications
