Job description

Photo Cake Specialist

Full-Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $17.75-18.50 depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

With an attention for detail, Photo Cake Specialists decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts according to standards and customer preferences.

 

What you bring to the team:

Fulfillment of special orders

  • Design and produce custom photo cakes using edible imaging and decorating techniques
  • Decorate cakes with icing, piping, and finishing touches based on customer requests
  • Prepare and mix various icings, fillings, and frostings according to company recipes
  • Fill and finish pastries such as cannolis and other bakery items
  • Assist with general bakery production, including cake assembly and preparation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment in compliance with health and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about custom orders and timelines, assisting in design decisions, etc.
  • Ensure all products meet Stew Leonard’s quality and presentation standards

 

Qualifications:

  • Entry level position: no prior experience required
  • Safely use knives, spatula, piping bags and tips
