The Ned’s Club Washington DC boasts 3 restaurants each serving a unique style of cuisine from around the world. We will also host incredible events with customized menus for our guests. As a Line Cook you will support our culinary team in one of these kitchens serving up amazing food to our members, guests, and customers.

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

After launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened a Ned’s Club in the US capital in 2025, our fourth and newest location.


The Property…

Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.

As part of our Pastry kitchen team and reporting to the Pastry leadership team, you will:

  • Assist with prep and producing high-quality plated desserts, petit fours, mousses, ice creams, and custards for three on-site restaurants as well as event spaces. the food and ingredients our chefs need to smoothly cook and serve amazing quality food
  • Assist in chocolate work, cake decorating and other specialty pastry techniques
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Collaborate with the team and Pastry Leadership to uphold the Ned’s Club culinary standards
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the pastry arts field

What you can bring to the role:

  • Previous pastry kitchen experience or culinary school exposure is an advantage, but not essential. This is an entry level role, and we will happily look after and train people with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Our customers and guests expect the best, so high standards and attention to details are essential
  • Our kitchens can be high pressure so a calm demeanor and a genuine passion for providing guests with exceptional food is essential
  • Ideally this role is a stepping stone into a Pastry Line cook role, so a desire to learn and progress is preferred, but not essential
  • Open shift availability needed for this position to include evening, nights and weekend
