What jobs make $1000 per hour?

Jobs that can pay $1000 per hour are typically highly specialized roles such as experienced surgeons, top-tier lawyers, or certain high-level consultants. These positions often require advanced education, extensive experience, and sometimes certification or licensing, and they are usually found in private practice or consulting environments. Entry-level packing jobs do not reach this pay rate.

Why is Gen Z struggling to get jobs?

Gen Z job seekers often face challenges such as limited work experience, high competition, and employers' preference for candidates with specific skills or certifications. Entry level packing roles typically require minimal experience but may still be competitive due to a large pool of applicants and changing hiring priorities. Developing relevant skills and gaining certifications can improve chances of securing such positions.

What are entry level packing jobs?

Entry level packing jobs involve preparing products for shipment by placing them in boxes, containers, or other packaging materials. Workers are typically responsible for inspecting items for damage, labeling packages, and ensuring that products are packed according to company standards. These positions often require physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently on a team or independently. No previous experience is usually needed, making them accessible positions for those entering the workforce or seeking a career change.

What are some common challenges faced by entry level packing employees, and how can they be managed?

Entry level packing employees often encounter challenges such as maintaining speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and learning the specific packaging standards of different products. To manage these challenges, new hires can benefit from thorough training, clear communication with supervisors, and taking regular short breaks to reduce physical fatigue. Teamwork is also essential, as packers frequently collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure orders are completed on time and correctly.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

Entry-level packing jobs typically do not pay $10,000 a month; such high earnings usually require specialized skills, experience, or ownership of a business. Location: Van Nuys, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Pay Range: $18โ€“$24/hour (based on experience)

Read This First

This is hands-on, detail-driven work in a regulated aviation environment.

We are not looking for someone who โ€œjust wants a job.โ€
We are looking for someone reliable, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn.

If you do not take pride in your work, struggle with following detailed procedures, or have inconsistent attendance, this role will not be a fit.

About the Role

You will be trained to inspect, service, and overhaul aviation safety equipment including life rafts, life vests, and survival kits.

This is repetitive, process-driven work that requires attention to detail, focus, and consistency. Every step mattersโ€”this equipment supports real-world aviation safety.

No aviation experience is required. We will train you. What matters is your work ethic, attitude, and ability to learn.

What You Will Be Doing

You will rotate through different stages of the repair and overhaul process:

  • Receiving and documenting incoming equipment
  • Performing inspections and identifying discrepancies
  • Conducting inflation and leak testing
  • Replacing components and completing required updates
  • Rebuilding and packing life rafts and safety equipment
  • Completing survival kit updates and inspections
  • Performing final quality checks and preparing equipment for return

What We Expect

  • You show up on time, every day
  • You follow procedures exactlyโ€”no shortcuts
  • You stay focused and consistent, even with repetitive tasks
  • You take pride in the quality of your work
  • You are willing to learn and improve
  • You work well as part of a team

Non-Negotiables

  • Reliable attendance
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Comfortable working with your hands and using tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Van Nuys

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Mechanical experience (automotive, electrical, fabrication, etc.)
  • Experience using hand or power tools
  • Experience in a technical or production environment

FAA & DOT Compliance

This is a safety-sensitive position governed by the FAA and DOT. All candidates must:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Be subject to random drug and alcohol testing

Federal regulations apply, including restrictions on certain substances regardless of state legality.

What This Job Is NOT

  • Not a sit-down or desk job
  • Not a role where you can rush or cut corners
  • Not a fit for someone who struggles with consistency or attention to detail

Why CAPS Aviation

  • Paid, hands-on trainingโ€”no aviation experience required
  • Stable, full-time hours
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career in aviation
  • Team-oriented environment with clear expectations

Equal Opportunity Employer

CAPS Aviation is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to protected characteristics.
