Job Title: Production Worker / Assistant Machine Operator
Schedule & Pay
  • Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Location: McKenney, VA

Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as a Production Worker / Assistant Machine Operator in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This entry-level position is responsible for supporting production operations by assisting machine operators, handling materials, assembling products, and ensuring the production line runs efficiently.
The production worker plays a key role in maintaining productivity and product quality by supporting daily manufacturing activities. As an assistant machine operator, you will work closely with experienced operators and supervisors to ensure equipment runs smoothly while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Fabrication
  • Perform manual assembly of product components while following production instructions and work orders.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble or attach parts accurately and efficiently.
  • Support production operations as a production worker by maintaining consistent workflow on the production line.

Material Handling & Line Support
  • Load raw materials into machines and move finished products to designated storage areas.
  • Assist machine operators with staging materials and maintaining production flow.
  • Support daily operations as an assistant machine operator by preparing materials needed for production runs.

Machine Operation Support
  • Assist machine operators with machine setup and operation to help maintain efficient production cycles.
  • Monitor equipment performance and notify supervisors or operators of potential issues.
  • Work alongside operators as an assistant machine operator to keep equipment clean and operating properly.

Quality Inspection
  • Visually inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies before packaging.
  • Remove damaged or defective items from the production line to maintain quality standards.
  • As a production worker, help ensure products meet company specifications and production guidelines.

Packaging & Shipping Preparation
  • Pack completed items for shipment and apply proper labels or packaging materials.
  • Assist with palletizing products and preparing shipments for storage or transport.
  • Support warehouse and production teams as a production worker by maintaining accurate production counts and documentation.

Requirements & Skills
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery and production noise
