The Entry Level Supply Chain Coordinator will support day-to-day logistics and customer operations for a large, fast-growing supply chain organization. This role coordinates customer orders, transportation activities, internal communications, and reporting to help products move efficiently throughout the supply chain. Working across customer service, operations, transportation, and accounting functions, the Entry Level Supply Chain Coordinator will gain hands-on experience while helping resolve distribution issues and maintain responsive service for major customers.


Responsibilities

  • Manage customer purchase order placement, order processing, and communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide primary phone coverage for customer service lines and respond to incoming customer requests.
  • Monitor, organize, and distribute communications across multiple Microsoft email inboxes.
  • Coordinate customer orders, production requirements, transportation, and storage activities.
  • Research customer inquiries and operational issues and route them to appropriate internal teams for resolution.
  • Track orders and logistics activities to support timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and distribute daily and monthly logistics and operational reports.
  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities as needed.
  • Gather service provider pricing and assist with minor pricing negotiations.
  • Communicate order status, issues, and requirements across internal departments.
  • Provide limited after-hours coverage when required, particularly during peak operating periods.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 0โ€“1 years of experience in logistics, freight, shipping, transportation, or order management.
  • 0โ€“1 years of customer service or order processing experience.
  • Experience processing purchase orders or coordinating customer orders is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and managing multiple email inboxes.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain logistics, customer, and operational reports.
  • Availability to provide occasional after-hours coverage during peak periods.
