The Opportunity:
The Operational Due Diligence team is responsible for performing operational due diligence of private markets managers. Our operational due diligence process includes evaluating the infrastructure, governance, personnel, controls, compliance, operations, as well as other processes of various private equity investment managers.
Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Assist in the completion of the operational due diligence of investment opportunities Assist in the preparation of documentation for on-site due diligence meetings with investment managers
  • Prepare detailed reports containing comprehensive information and analysis related to the operational environment of potential investments
  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of meetings with investment mangers
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of manager ADV filings and other publicly available information
  • Setup and review background checks provided by third parties
  • Keeping abreast of market developments, industry trends and regulatory matters that could impact private equity managers
  • Work within a team structure to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of operational due diligence reports
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as needed

Your background will include:
Must-haves:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years operational due diligence experience
  • Dynamic, smart, hard-working, self-starter attributes and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both internally and externally
  • Knowledge of the private markets
  • Background analyzing the operational risks within private equity funds or other relevant background
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and possess strong analytical skills with an interest and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Must be able to operate in a high pressure environment

Travel Requirements:
  • Flexibility to travel up to 5%
