Job Title: Sales Support Associate

Work Location: DPL Headquarters, Louisville, Ky, Onsite

Employment Type: Full Time

Reports to: VP, Head of Advisor Engagement

Job Purpose: Sales Support Associate (SSA) is an entry level sales position that involves a clear career development path to a grow within DPL for driven and motivated employees. As a SSA, you will be mentored by experienced Sales Managers that will equip you with the resources and tools to successfully engage new and existing prospects, schedule appointments with customers and partner with sales consultants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to clearly articulate DPL products and services to prospects and clients via phone calls and emails.
  • Contact new and existing prospects from established leads database
  • Set appointments and participate in onboarding calls/meetings to inform business to business customers about DPL products and services
  • Maintain and monitor membership opportunities within the Salesforce platform
  • Provide support to your team by using our technology to find better solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with Sales Consultants and Operations support team to ensure completeness and accuracy of applications
  • Partner with sales consultants to enhance territory management and product sales knowledge
  • Learn DPL's systems, sales model, and carrier products
  • If you do not already have them, you will be required to obtain state life and health licenses, SIE, and Series 6 and 63 licensing.
