What are entry level offshore medical jobs?

Entry level offshore medical jobs are positions for healthcare professionals, such as medics, nurses, or EMTs, who provide medical care and first aid on offshore oil rigs, ships, or platforms. These roles involve responding to emergencies, conducting health checks, managing medical supplies, and ensuring workplace health and safety protocols are followed. Candidates typically need relevant medical qualifications, basic offshore safety training, and the ability to work in remote, challenging environments. These jobs serve as a starting point for a career in offshore or remote medicine.

What are the typical work schedules and living arrangements for entry level offshore medical personnel?

Entry level offshore medical professionals usually work on a rotational schedule, such as two weeks on the rig followed by two or three weeks off. While on duty, they live in shared accommodations onboard the platform, with meals and basic amenities provided.
