  • Outreach & Education: Conduct workshops, trainings, and community outreach to educate and empower tenants.
  • Legal Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents, motions, and agreements, and assess the merits of cases assigned by the court or referred clients.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School.
  • Experience: Prior litigation and landlord-tenant experience are a plus.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with NYC housing law and public benefits is advantageous.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, research, organizational, and writing skills. Ability to handle stress and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Strong team-building skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Passion: A demonstrated commitment to public interest law and social justice.
  • Language: Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
