Job description

Modern Chevrolet of Winston-Salem has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Automotive Service Technician. Come join the team of talented service and repair professionals at Modern Chevrolet. Don’t have tools?  Modern Chevrolet will provide the tools needed to start your career.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repair and maintenance efficiently and accurately, as outlined on the assigned repair order and in accordance with dealer and factory standards
  • Communicate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts
  • Communicate with Service Advisor immediately if additional work is required
  • Road test vehicles when required

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of automotive technician training or a strong mechanical aptitude, be highly organized, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and may be asked to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs. A High school diploma or GED is required. CDK experience preferred.
