Position: Processor Assistant

Job Description:

To support the processing of first mortgage loans in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, as well as Navy Federal policies and procedures, by providing operations and administrative support to Mortgage Processors.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support to Processors, enabling them to focus on direct member and realtor engagement, improving communication, efficiency, and overall member experience.
  • Collect, review, follow-up, and verify mortgage applications and supporting documentation, including income, assets, title, appraisal, and homeownerโ€™s insurance (HOI), ensuring completeness and accuracy for underwriting submission.
  • Evaluate and gather documentation required for Initial Credit Review (ICR) submissions and perform scrub reviews to ensure file readiness and minimize underwriting pends.
  • Submit and manage tasks and documentation through HomeSquad on behalf of Processors, while performing ongoing follow-up activities including HomeSquad tasks, pending title work, and member inspections required prior to appraisal orders.
  • Ensure key loan milestone dates are accurately captured to support automation and timely progression through the pipeline.
  • Image and index documents accurately within the repository and complete missing system fields (e.g., Empower) to ensure data integrity.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Real Estate Lending systems, policies, procedures and practices
  • Effective verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems
  • Must be able to work hybrid- distraction free environment and direct access to router
  • Must have high speed cable or fiber internet (no wireless)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am -5:00pm

  • 3 days onsite in Pensacola and 2 days remote per week
  • No time off in the first 6 months

Pay: $17/hour
