Overview
A growing mortgage company is hiring experienced Mortgage Processors, with active state NMLS licenses, to support continued expansion across multiple states. This is a fully remote 1099 contractor role for someone with strong processing experience, a Florida NMLS license, and the ability to manage files from documentation review through conditions and closing support.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Process residential mortgage loan files
โ€ข Review borrower documentation for completeness and accuracy
โ€ข Complete income analysis
โ€ข Review files against mortgage guidelines
โ€ข Track and manage critical dates
โ€ข Request, review, and clear loan conditions
โ€ข Communicate with Loan Officers, borrowers, agents, title companies, and underwriters
โ€ข Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and LendingPad
โ€ข Manage file updates and follow-up throughout the processing cycle
โ€ข Support Conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM, and New Construction loan files
Qualifications
โ€ข 3+ years of mortgage processing experience
โ€ข Florida NMLS license- candidate must have an active license at the time of application.
โ€ข Experience completing income analysis
โ€ข Strong understanding of mortgage guidelines
โ€ข Experience managing loan conditions and critical dates
โ€ข Experience communicating with Loan Officers, borrowers, agents, title companies, and underwriters
โ€ข Salesforce experience
โ€ข LendingPad experience
โ€ข Microsoft proficiency
โ€ข Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM, and New Construction loans
