Job description

Job Title: NDT Level I (entry level) Location: Cheswick, Pennsylvania (Local candidates only) Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0

Overview System One is seeking Entry-Level NDT Level I Technicians to join our team on-site in Cheswick, PA. Must be local to the area. This is a great opportunity for candidates with a hands-on mechanical background looking to grow or start a new career in nondestructive testing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with NDT inspections (UT, PT, MT, or RT as trained)
  • Use basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment (tape measures, gauges)
  • Support senior technicians with setup, testing, and documentation
  • Follow safety and quality procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
  • Comfortable using hand tools and reading measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior shop, fabrication, or field experience (nice to have)
  • Exposure to NDT methods or certifications (a plus, not required)
