The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced System Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.
As a Systems Engineer on NGI, you should have an understanding of at least one of the key system subject areas with the opportunity to work in all fields to include systems definition, decomposition, allocation, traceability, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, analysis, and test.
You will be expected to leverage this understanding to support major program reviews, including SRR, PDR, and CDR, participate in specification and interface development/documentation, and support the development of verification plans.
You may also have the opportunity to participate in system-level analyses in support of mission planning/execution and tests at various test ranges.
Some travel may be required.
