The Six String Grill offers a full bar and exceptional wings, burgers, salads, steaks and desserts. Our kitchen is a great opportunity for entry-level and experienced kitchen staff to learn new techniques and grow. Hill Country Golf & Guitar is the only destination restaurant of its kind featuring a premium mini-golf experience under a roaring waterfall and live music. Across the lawn, Hill Country Golf & Guitar showcases new talent and local bands in the Austin tradition. Ultimately, Hill Country Golf & Guitar and the Six String Grill is an authentic place for the community of greater Austin to come together and create memories through fun, food and music.

Job Description
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and pots
  • Operate dish washing equipment
  • Distribute and store clean pots, dishes and utensils
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
  • Empty trash containers as required
  • Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
  • Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies policies
  • Follow safety regulations; report injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor.
  • Attend training and education sessions as assigned
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions in English.
  • Knowledge of Spanish a plus.
  • Previous experience preferred but not required. Will train on the job.
  • Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene.
  • Food Handler's card required.
  • Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
