Job description

Lakeside Mini Golf located in North Carolina at Lake Gaston is looking for mini golf attendants to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, customer service focused, and hard-working.


Do you enjoy providing customer service to others? We are looking for a Mini Golf Attendant to handle all aspects of sales and service at the best miniature golf course at Lake Gaston. If you enjoy working with the public then we want to talk with you!


Overview

Mini Golf Attendants handle all aspects mini golf sales and serve food and beverages to guests visiting the concession stand, ensuring to provide great customer service. They also support the pace of play on the mini golf course to maximize playability.


Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, answer the telephone courteously, and complete all sales transactions.
  • Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Take concession stand orders and prepare food and beverages (i.e. Louisiana style sno-balls, cotton candy) in accordance to established service standards.
  • Ensure merchandise inventory is kept neat, attractively displayed and sufficiently stocked; stock and replenish food and beverages as needed.
  • Provide golf balls and clubs to mini golf customers.
  • Operate cash register and receive payment from customer in cash or credit card, and accurately count and provide change to customers when applicable.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain the concession stand area, including counters and equipment.
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
  • Inspect mini golf and concession facilities and equipment to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper working order; report all issues when applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Education (some HS education required)
  • Previous customer service experience, preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Professional appearance
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
