Specific Skills Required for this position:

  • Practical experience in Active Directory, load balancing, reverse proxy, DNS, certificates, PowerShell Scripting and related components.

INTRODUCTION

  • Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA) is seeking a Microsoft Exchange consulting engineer professional to provide support in an already developed exchange environment.  
  • The Email Engineer will provide hands on support and his experience on Messaging infrastructure application/systems like MS-Exchange server, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, Proofpoint mail gateway, SMTP relay & related records/protocols are required.
  • The Engineer will provide support, design, enable best practices and develop and maintain standards and policies for the email messaging system.
  • Helping to analyze and resolve end-user issues and deliver new technology capabilities related to the Messaging environment.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Seeking an engineer with extensive hands-on experience with messaging infrastructure applications and systems, including MS-Exchange Server, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, Proofpoint Mail Gateway, SMTP relay, and related protocols.
  • Aid in the planning and migration to a new Microsoft Tenant is a plus.

Consultant shall provide general services such as:

  • Analyzing and reviewing current exchange system, develop design documentation.
  • Identifying and marking items that do not align with published email standards.
  • Recommending changes for continuous improvement
  • Working to establish a new O365 tenant and migration as needed.
  • Providing consolidated recommendations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies, and their integration with Active Directory, MFA, and on-premises services/networks.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in troubleshooting, patching, and managing Windows servers, including Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • Proven experience working in enterprise environments.
  • Must have the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team across various locations and cultures.
  • Highly adaptable and quick to grasp new technologies and emerging markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365, Proofpoint Email Filtering, or other SMTP gateway exchange servers, as well as mobile device management tools. Additionally, skilled in managing Microsoft Windows servers and GPOs.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting mail routing issues, Office 365 problems, and online meetings.
  • Extensive experience with server security vulnerability management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft services, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Practical experience in Active Directory, load balancing, reverse proxy, DNS, certificates, PowerShell Scripting and related components.
