Job description

Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Onsite)

Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Examiner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and evaluating health plan claims while providing support to healthcare providers regarding claim inquiries.


Key Qualifications

  • Recent medical claims experience (required)

  • Hands-on experience with medical claims adjudication

  • Working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations

  • Strong understanding of healthcare terminology and claims workflows

  • Proven ability to accurately review and process claims

  • Previous experience in a claims or healthcare administrative role preferred


Primary Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and adjudicate medical claims for accuracy and compliance

  • Ensure claims are processed accurately and within required timelines

  • Investigate and resolve provider inquiries and claim discrepancies

  • Perform data entry and maintain detailed claim records

  • Track, document, and support resolution of disputes

  • Assist with general administrative and departmental support tasks


Education & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM preferred

Pay Details: $22.50 per hour
