Job Responsibilities
Position Summary: Manage engineering processes required to design, build, ship, and service Lincoln Electric Automation equipment.
Role qualifications:
Must be familiar with Company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives.
Focus on design and development.
Position responsibilities:
Takes initiative to meet challenging project timelines and budgets including hours and materials.
Provides small-scale mechanical layouts and detailed prints to production.
Ensure that product, as designed, is in conformance with Company quote and customer purchase order.
Assist with compiling digital documentation for service manuals.
May assist with installation.
Updates design package to reflect "as shipped" configuration of any critical item.
Ensure required ISO documentation is completed.
Typically works on one light design and/ or detail task at a time
Works under the direction of a more senior level Designer or Project Engineer
Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects in support of the Company's strategic goals
Assists other departments for a 2-4 month period as assigned
Job Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
Technical degree in Engineering desired
CAD (3D modeling) desired - SolidWorks
0-2 years' experience.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and design documents.
Computer proficiency includes MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
