Job description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Carpenter to join a premier residential construction crew in Central Oregon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a true craftsman who takes pride in their work and can seamlessly transition between framing, finish work, and general carpentry.
While pay is dependent on experience, candidates with a proven background in residential construction are strongly preferred. If you are a self-motivated professional who works well independently or alongside a crew, we want to hear from you!
๐ฒ Compensation & BenefitsPay Rate: $23.00 โ $30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience; candidates with proven residential experience are strongly preferred)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift
Projects are located across Central Oregon, primarily in Bend, Redmond, and Sunriver.
๐ Key Responsibilities
Structural & Framing: Execute high-quality structural carpentry and framing.
Exterior & Interior Finish: Install doors, windows, siding, trim, and finish woodwork.
Specialized Installs: Handle concrete formwork, basic masonry, and tile layout/installation as needed.
Site Management: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment.
Collaboration: Cooperate with team members and assist other trades to keep projects on schedule.
Experience: Proven hands-on carpentry experience specifically within residential construction (strongly preferred; this is not an entry-level role).
Technical Skills: Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, measure precisely, and cut/install various building materials.
Tools: Must own (or be actively building out) a comprehensive set of personal hand and power tools.
Logistics: Valid driverโs license and reliable transportation to commute to various area job sites.
Professionalism: Punctual, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to provide solid professional references. Clear English communication skills are required.
