Position Summary:
The Market Research Analyst conducts investigative market research by gathering, verifying, and recording information related to the Industrial market while maintaining a high standard of quality in a HIGH VOLUME OUTBOUND CALLING environment. In Office Environment/ THIS IS NOT IT/ ANALYTICS position. The position does not work on software such as Power BI /Python nor Cyber Security.
Duties related to this role are as follows:
  • Conduct surveys and extract new market data using methods such as phone interviews, questionnaires, market analysis surveys, and internet search techniques.
  • Review, and record market data in preparation for client usage.
  • Perform data entry into company database and other duties required for task completion.
  • Verify the accuracy and validity of data in database; correct any errors.
  • Collaborate with other researchers while conducting market research.
  • Compose short reports or news alerts summarizing completed research with emphasis on adding value to existing record in the database.
  • Prepare and present summaries of survey data that includes tables, graphs, written text, and fact sheets that describe research results.
  • Monitor relevant industry and follow trends in trade literature; maintain strong command of industry terminology which includes numerous heavy equipment and industry process details.Respond to request from clients received via hotline, instant message and emails with highly efficient process.
  • May present research analysis at client meetings, company hosted seminars, or trade-shows.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Experience: One or more years experience using the phone as a business tool required, preferably completing outbound phone calls.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills which includes the use of Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, and other specialized software. Prior work experience in database entry work is preferred.
