Hours: Sun-Wed Days - 38 Hours/week Sun-Tues 3PM-1:30AM Wed 3PM-11:30PM
Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an entry level Manufacturing Technician I. Ideal candidates should have at least a High School Diploma with at least 1 year of experience in a cGMP regulated industry.
Responsibilities
  • Execute fundamental unit operations in downstream manufacturing related to bulk drug substance production in a multi-product facility.
  • Perform duties under limited supervision, following standard operating and manufacturing procedures.
  • Independently execute non-complex fundamental operations such as parts cleaning, weigh and dispense, equipment prep, kits assembly, and staging.
  • Support internal activities including stocking consumables/materials, updating SOP binders, discarding expired reagents, and recognizing/reporting process and equipment anomalies.
  • Perform CIP and SIP of tanks and manufacturing equipment, buffer prep, and transfer into tanks and bags under oversight of qualified staff.
  • Conduct daily analytics and maintenance of analytical equipment, including cleaning and setup.
  • Document work according to cGMP and cGDP standards, adhering to safety standards and escalating unsafe situations appropriately.
  • Maintain production areas according to predefined standards (5S).

Requirements
  • High school diploma; associates/bachelors degree or biotechnology vocational training preferred.
  • Preferably 1 or more years of experience in a cGMP regulated industry.
  • Ability to focus on detail-oriented work in a complex technical environment with a quality and right-the-first-time mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer-based systems and ability to read and understand SOPs and work instructions.
  • Ability to work as part of a high-performing team and collaborate effectively with staff.
  • Flexibility to work a 24/7 shift structure and adapt schedules upon prior notice.
