Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires, and battery testing
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Makes accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle
  • Perform various Express Service repairs and maintenance such as brake pad replacement, alignments, Wynn's flushes, basic tune-ups, shocks & struts, hoses, wheel bearings, and simple diagnostic work, and other entry-level repairs approved by service management.
  • Utilizes product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
  • Takes care to ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them in the same condition or better than when brought in
  • Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
  • Checks tire pressure and add air if needed.
  • Keep the shop area neat and clean.
  • operators all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Reports any safety-related issues immediately to management
  • Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of new technologies and practice
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Automotive Technical School Certifications Preferred
  • Previous Experience Highly Preferred
  • Apprenticeship experience a plus
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have basic tools
