Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer – UPS & Power Electronics
Location: Pelzer, SC

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in power electronics and UPS systems to join our team. This role combines technical design and presales support, working on innovative power solutions and switchgear systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop UPS subsystems and electrical components
  • Support presales activities for MV/LV switchgear and control panels
  • Create single-line diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings
  • Perform analysis and optimization of power electronic systems
  • Ensure compliance with IEC, ANSI, UL, and IEEE standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (embedded, mechanical, testing)
  • Contribute to R&D, design improvements, and technical problem-solving

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of power converters, circuit topologies, and semiconductor devices
  • Experience with tools like AutoCAD, Revit, ECAD, EPLAN, ETAP
  • Familiarity with PCB design and EMC compliance (preferred)
  • Experience in UPS or power module development is a plus
