Job description

Research Analyst

Assist in upgrading the research abilities to add more values to both the BOCNY and the BOC Group.

Conduct researches in fields including but not limited to the macro economy, financial markets, and the banking industry, as well as their impacts on the bank's strategies and businesses;

Provide both periodic and adhoc research reports under guidance;

Offer expert knowledge and timely advisories to departments in fields such as interest rate trends.

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree/Ph.D. in Finance/Economics/other quantitative fields preferred;

Proven track record of macro research or banking industry research;

Ideally experience in econometrics;

Good verbal and written communication;

Banking industry or financial services experience: 0-2 year.

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate's relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
