Role Overview

The Logistics Specvialist is responsible for end-to-end logistics, inventory, and order operations, including inbound and outbound shipment coordination, inventory control, backorder management, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams, customers, vendors, and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate outbound shipments, provide shipment notifications, track deliveries, and obtain PODs.
  • Investigate and resolve transit issues including delays, damage, and missing items.
  • Monitor inbound air and ocean shipments, coordinate customs clearance, and arrange timely pickup and delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-border shipments and required documentation.
  • Manage backorders, track ETAs, and coordinate fulfillment once materials are available.
  • Perform inventory reviews, identify variances, and provide corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate commissioning and rework project spare parts deliveries aligned with project
  • Arrange special loading equipment and container returns as required.
Reporting & Inquiry Management
  • Maintain accurate records in Airtable and related systems.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational and inventory reports.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to orders, inventory, and deliveries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
  • Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with 3PLs, freight carriers, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with international shipping and trade compliance
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with SAP, Cargowise, Airtable software
